This is the start of my 10th year teaching Art, and 2nd year teaching in the Anoka-Hennepin School District. In addition to teaching art at Andover High School, I also coach the B squad high school girls soccer team. Since 2012, I have been teaching a variety of high school visual arts courses ranging from Photo, Ceramics, Studio Art, Computer Art, Video Art, Sculpture, Jewelry & Crafts, Drawing and Painting. The majority of my teaching career was spent teaching at St. Michael-Albertville High School, co-advising art competitions, and coaching high school girls soccer. Prior to STMA, I spent a year teaching art classes at St. Francis High School, Cambridge-Isanti High School, and Eden Prairie High School. I also dedicated two summers teaching English as a Second Language in Japan (2011) an Italy (2012). My path to Art Education began with my AFA from Anoka Ramsey Community College (2009), followed by attending UW-River Falls (2012) to earn my degree in Art Education. I completed my Master’s Degree in Education through UW-Stout (2019).
